So I'm trying to write a story prompt and I want to get my facts at least semi-accurate. My promot has to do with Resident Evil, and I know Dulvey is isn't real but from what I've seen it would be set near the south of Baton Rouge. (Please correct me if I'm wrong)

My thing is, I want to add a large amusement park type thing to that area or possibly as a halfway-ish point between Baton Rouge and where Dulvey would exist. I'm wondering how far near where Dulvey is said to be placed, could a corporation get away with setting something? Like this is a super corrupt corporation that does not care about any regulations or safety measures except what absolutely needs to be done/seen for them to get established.

And I will say that it would have a very inaccurate to Louisiana underground area, but I'm hoping I can maybe connect that to the salt mines that are in RE.

Anyway, I welcome all thoughts and opinions. Even if the thought is ut wouldn't work for the area, maybe try sonething else.

I see a lot of posts here about authors being really happy that they're getting back to back notifications about comments from someone as that person reads through their work. And like that makes a lot of sense, I've posted a couple of things and a comment email is always a nice serotonin boost. But as a reader I'm the type to kind of keep notes of the story in my head (and sometimes actually written down) and then do a giant comment at the last/most recent chapter. Do authors have preferences on that? Like should I just comment by chapter instead?

This is obviously nothing serious, just a small inquiry.
