My brother with epilepsy seems unusually slow with everyday tasks
I'm the oldest of four and the 3rd youngest (14) was diagnosed with epilepsy 1-2 years ago. Since he started being fully medicated we've noticed a certain decline in how fast he finishes certain every day tasks.
It looks like he has completely lost his sense of "hurry", my mom has a lot of trouble when he's getting ready for school because he takes a long time showering, dressing, brushing his teeth, putting on his shoes etc
Every morning everyone wakes up to my mom yelling at my brother because there isn't a day where he isn't late. Before you blame school and his age, this applies to any activity, even the ones he chooses, like soccer practice. When ordering food he is always the last, the entire family has to tell their orders to the waiter first and they always have to come back just so he can order his. Not to mention how much he struggles making decisions like what color of shoes he wants or what kind of design on a shirt he wants, making shopping with him a very tedious experience.
I just wanted to know if anyone here has experienced situations like these and if this is a common thing among people with epilepsy.
