A Long Awaited Farewell
Hello to everyone, I hope this day finds you well. A long time ago now..maybe 5 or 6 years? I was grinding away, fighting some of you maybe in Dominion, when I reached rep 50, I told my friends and the people I'd met from then on: "If Ubisoft ever raises the max to 100 for a character...I think that's when I'm gonna retire man- but who knows when that'll happen?"
And fast forward to this year when that finally happened...I was gonna keep my word. I grinded away to take my Kensei to the top...! I am certainly not the first or anything like that, but it was a personal goal to end this journey through Heathmoor. I started playing this game during its BETA..damn it makes me feel old...but, times are different now, i got my job to deal with and life continues marching forward- im also fairly certain im slowing down, not thinking the same when I play this now...missing parries and counter gbs, poor ganking and anti-ganks, and, worst of all, becoming far too predictable when I fight so...considering that? Retirement is calling my name haha.
So yea, I just wanted to post my Kensei and some of my other characters I've put steel and time into...and this is their goodbye. Maybe you've faced me or fought alongside me? I hope I was a good teammate, and a worthy opponent.
To all the remaining warriors? I wish you a long, and successful journey until you also meet me in retirement one day. And to the next generation joining us now? Steel your self, never falter, and remember that time and dedication are the true tools to becoming any sort of good on this game.
Maybe I'll come out of retirement if Ubisoft does a For Honor 2? I've entertained the thought but...they gotta do it soon because, I'm not getting any younger or less busy haha.
Farewell For Honor, thank you for being with me for a whole decade, and all the memories, both good and bad, you have given me. And to those of you that read all this yapping? You're awesome. Have a kickass day :)
