Hey r/chicagoapartments! Throwing this out here in case anyone has leads, recommendations, or knows of something coming available.

- **Move-In Date:** June 1st (firm)
- **Price:** Under $1,500/month
- **Type:** Apartment, condo, or loft — open to any
- **Bed/Bath:** 1 Bedroom / 1 Bathroom
- **Sq Ft:** 500+ sq ft minimum
- **Location:** Prefer the South Side, but honestly open to any neighborhood if the place is the right fit
- **Pets:** None
- **Parking:** I do have a car — a garage or dedicated parking spot would be a great bonus, but not a dealbreaker if street parking is reasonable
- **Internet:** High-speed fiber is a must
**Areas I'd like to avoid:** The Loop, West Loop, Lincoln Park, Wrigleyville, and River North.
Beyond the basics, I'm really just looking for something in decent condition with a responsive, properly managed building. Nothing over the top — just a landlord who actually picks up the phone and a place that's well maintained. Had some rough experiences before and that stuff genuinely matters.
