Undergraduate Thesis for Until Then
From the title alone, I'm currently doing my undergraduate thesis about Until Then. A bit of context I am a college student currently taking up linguistics in the Philippines. I’m currently doing my undergraduate thesis on Until Then, specifically focusing on its English-to-Filipino localization from a linguistics perspective.
So basically I'm analyzing how the game handles its translation affect its emotional nuance. I thought it’d be interesting to study how it's localization affect the experience. So with that said I'd like to ask the PH gamers here who played in Filipino (or switched between languages), did anything feel especially natural, awkward, emotional, or interesting? I'm doing this cause I want companies to see the potential of Filipino localization.
