Questions before my new gutters go up
Hello. Just had a metal reroof, and I'm getting my gutters put on soon. I went up to paint the fascia ends and touch things up, and I have some questions.
Should I be concerned about the extension of the roof past the fascia like this? I understand the gutter will tuck up into it, but it feels like it's too far out, and when I look up, I see the underside of the original decking exposed. Any risk of water damage, or am I over thinking it? Just want to verify before the gutters go up. I would say the gap is just under an inch past the fascia.
Also, In the last picture, you can see a gap of about a quarter inch between the fascia and the skip sheeting at the end of the roof. Wondering if that should be touched up with caulking or something to prevent bugs and or water.
