Did I properly age chicken poop for fertilizer use?
Last fall I cleaned out my chicken’s homes and left their poop in buckets. This was around November, so it has been about 5-6 months.
I have heard it to use it first you have to let the poop breakdown but I am unsure if I did it properly since I just left in buckets. Is this okay or do I need to leave it in the sun/rain for months ?
I am planning on using it for mint , lemon balm and cherry tomatoes in zone 7.
