Hello there, I tried the search bar for the answer to this, but there wasn’t one that I seen, so ima ask.
Recently I read Shogun, and that book instantly became one of my favorite books ever.
I loved the politics, the characters and their relationships with on another, the dialogue and the setting and now I’m looking for something that is similar.
I don’t care which era, and it doesn’t have to be based in Japan, but any recommendations of books that favor Shogun would be baller. A book with a lot of politics, characters that feel real and interesting, a nice romance subplot that doesn’t feel contrived or cliche would also be nice, and on top of it all, I need it to have good dialogue.
I have read other Clavell novels too.
Thank you.
