Does this seem infected?
My cat - M2 - had emergency surgery last Tuesday for a linear foreign body obstruction. I brought him home on Thursday afternoon and he’s been isolated since. The only jumping he’s been doing is onto an air mattress that I have made up in the room to hang out with him but he’s mostly just been laying on it and being very chill - not a whole lot of activity.
I noticed this spot that looked a little open today. He’s eating and using the litter box like normal and yelling at me to be let free. Does this require further evaluation or should I just keep an eye on it?
