So, had a Kenda 270 on front and a shinko 244 on the rear of my KLR 650. I t sat the last two years and when I went to ride it this year I couldn’t figure out what was up. Between 30-50km/hour it had a strange bounce on the front end. Initial look at the tires didn’t show anything. The rear is in its last season at 50% but the front was next to new. After a second look at the front tire I was dumbfounded. It had gone from 95% to 15% in less than 300km. After further inspection I realized it was the opposite side I had looked at initially. Worn completely on one side and full tread on the other… anyone have this happen? Factory defect? I don’t remember ever having to slam the brakes and skid the tires on this newer set.
