What tree is this?

Hi all. What tree is this? And how is best to prune it?

It doesn't seem to have grown loads in the past 7 vears of living here but feel it's getting a bit tall and stretching out.

My app is conflicting and one says black locust and another says honey locust. And then some mentions a skyline variety

It doesn't have any thorns and has never had any fruits etc. Just a few flowers in spring I think

Also how old do you think it is?

What type of privet is this?

Just starting to tidy up the garden and have had these since we moved here 7 years ago

They provide some good screening for us and they don't seem to spread at all. Just have to trim them every year, but I have left this for a few years now

I read some stories saying privet isn't good for the garden so didn't know if I should keep it or not?

Thanks

Apple tree summer pruning

Hi all. I have quite large apple tree and I'm quite new to pruning etc.

Every winter since moving here I have hacked it back hoping to to keep it under control and not too high but it seems in the summer the regrowth is huge. Another reason is I'm getting lots of suckers come up from the roots all over the garden

So I'm assuming the winter hacks are too much and need to learn how to prune properly

What would be the best way to handle this, I have read that I should cut off the water shoots as soon as I see them over the summer rather than winter to try and slow down the aggressive regrowth

And how do I keep it the size it is in the photos moving forward?

Thank you
