Wifi Issues on 2022 Zephyrus G14
Hi, I have a Zephyrus G14 2022 Model with a mediatek wifi card and amd components. It has worked perfectly with little hiccups until recently when I moved houses.
My router is on the other side of the house and has 2gb download and whenever I try to use the laptop in my room i get 10 mb. My phone and other devices work perfectly in my room. It also used to work perfect in my family home but I am now getting ping issues in my family home as well, no issues with download speeds.
One thing to note is that when I get very close to the router my speeds are literally perfect except I can't move the router.
I have done some searches in this thread and turned off battery power savings but that didn't help.
My question is what are my troubleshooting steps would getting a wifi extender help or do I need to replace the wifi card or is there potentially some other settings issue that I'm missing
