Hi, I was a 3rd year undergrad student in the US (University of Florida) and I’m looking to transfer to HKU for this year for fall 2026 due to family issues (I’m from mainland China). I’m studying biomedical engineering, and I’m applying for biomedical engineering at HKU. I know the main round of deadlines is over, but would be great knowing my chances of admission based on my stats now:
- college GPA: 3.95/4.00
- extensive undergraduate research experience (wet lab in animal science, co-author of research paper)
- IB grades 2023 41/45
- SAT 1540
- TOEFL 120 (but expired, took it in 2021)

I would appreciate any input on transfer prospects and credit transfer for HKU if I get admitted. Thanks guys!
