So I've finished the main game, but I don't understand a thing. So the statues which link to people, supposedly become able to pair only when the project has found the Eye. That's why I got paired after 9 million tries or smth. But I don't understand, in nomai's perspective, what was the point of having the statues that paired to people. Bc ok, the one paired with the tracking module was used to store the data. But since they knew about the time loop that would be created, why not just look at the data as soon as it gets there and make it so the solar station would turn off automatically after having found the Eye? Let me explain better. They start the orbital cannon, which immediately should tell them if the Eye was found yet or not, and then if it was they could just turn off the solar station and go get it. If it wasn't they'd just die for another version of them to see the loop. Were the statues for people just a safety measure?
