I am replacing the original battery in my Dacia Logan MCV 2016 with a brand new, like-for-like model. Both have the same stats, both are EFB (as the car is stop-start).

Can anyone tell me if I actually NEED a BEM reset? The internet / Halfords staff / EuroParts staff / guy-next-door have not been able to say either way.

Most references I can find so far say that Dacias / Renaults are one of the manufacturers where resets are NOT needed and the car will adapt to the new battery state on it's own over the next few days.

Google AI-slop has not been helpful and gave me re-packaged advice for some strange American models of a different car.
