Throwing the game with Kit
It was funny the first time seeing a character with 1 hp and no second life, it’s no longer funny to have 3 out of 6 on the team essentially just choosing to screw over the rest of the team making the timer much longer and overall sabotaging everyone else.
To then opt in to playing as zombie and actively become a detriment to the users team though is what really grinds my gears. I hate the zombie mechanic already (but I understand most don’t agree with me, so it is what it is), but to have someone essentially start the round already as a zombie is even worse than someone who leaves right at the start of the game.
And I’m not gonna just complain without offering a fix, so here’s what we could do about it:
Kit now counts for 1 third the normal time for both initial match timer and time added when killed compared to normal users, to account for the fact that he can still technically stun and collect fuel, but is extremely likely to die at the first time the term finds them, outside of very specific map/matchup combinations.
Kit can no longer become a zombie, if you want to bring the team down playing the joke character, you can’t then turn around right away and join the other team (purposefully giving up is probably/should probably be against the rules anyways).
You could probably do something to make Kit not a complete joke and maybe be worth actually seriously picking, if you wanted to restore his full time value, like giving him shiftlock or reducing his jump cooldown (or letting him actually gain boosted health again in I wanna be the user), but that’s not really the main purpose of this post.
So, yeah, that’s basically it, yell at me in the comments if you disagree and maybe we can change eachother’s mind, if you’d like to read my unfiltered rant on why I despise the zombie mechanic, just ask, I want to say it, just not if no one cares.
