Do I have endometriosis?
Hi all, new to the subreddit.
My mom and little sister both got diagnosed with endometriosis but they weren't diagnosed until after they had kids.
I am currently pregnant and have always wondered if I have it too. I recently went in for a pap smear and got some interesting results. I would love to post the Pic but I'm not able to which is a bit unfortunate. Instead I will rewrite what they wrote in the results.
" Specimen adequacy: 01
Satisfactory for evaluation. Endocervical and/or squamous metaplastic cells (endocervical component) are present."
I haven't spoken with my OB yet regarding the results and I won't hear from her until Monday. I was just hoping to see if anyone here might have any insight to what this means.
