Full disclaimer that I'm renting this place and maybe I should have been on top of the weeds a bit better, but his plant keeps growing back no matter what is thrown at it. The only water it gets is rain (and let's be real, not much of that) and it's not near any (known) pipes.

Only after attempting to go in with some elbow grease and then a stainless steel weeder (which I promptly bent) did I discover that the roots are thicker than the plant, and they go DEEP. I managed to uproot one of the offending plants, but I feel like I'm going to have to get the shovel out proper for the rest of them.
