Can We Be Objective?
This whole beta cycle has been a rollercoaster for all of us I am sure. Especially people trying to find the last slot for their Ashblade team. Now, after v5 we can have legitimate discussions I believe, but some people have been pushing agendas either following their own likes and dislikes or just trying to muddy the waters.
Especially because this subreddit is the Mortenax Blade mains subreddit. I think we should be impartial and give everyone the option to choose with no agendas or propaganda happening.
We've all seen the discourse of Robinette vs Waven throughout the whole beta cycle but from what I've seen the whole conversation flipped after v5, suddenly people started pushing the thought that Waven was MILES ahead of Robinette after v5, which in v4 the case was that he was worse than even E1 Tribbie. He did get a sizable buff but it wasn't so big as to subvert the whole equation guys.
Even Aventurinemains subreddit isn't doing such glazing for low cost WAventurine, the type I've seen over in this subreddit. The Robinette team has to be neutered with HuoHuo to even be compared to a Waven E0S1 + Hyacine team like come on.
Especially when this is the Mortenax Blade mains, with many of us having his E2 and wanting to make him useful for more than his buffs and debuffs.
Of course there are a lot of people that want to make a monomen team as well as people who genuinely like Aventurine as well here, no shade to them and people should genuinely pull for whoever they like because Ashblade team is one of, if not the most versatile team when it comes to variations. I just think that we shouldn't neuter the conversation by pulling one way or another.
