I've been attending conventions since 2011, and over the years, like anyone else, I would go on forums, message boards, and even reach out to cons on social media about inviting guests that I would to see. Now there have been a few times where a request I've made for a guest to be invited did get fulfilled, but over the years, there have been some voice actors I would ask to be invited, only for it to not happen for whatever reason there was.
I'm asking this question, and want to try to get some input from people, because the last few years, it's been becoming more and more frustrating with how, when I go on a message board, forum, social media, etc. for a con to invite some guests that I would very much like to see be invited, and they STILL don't have them as a guest.
Now yes I know there's always one or two reasons why, like how a guest is just plain busy, or got invited to another con, but at the same time, it still makes it all the more frustrating when you keep your fingers crossed, but nothing falls into place for you.
