I assume you have seen or heard the adverts about octopus energy and their customer service. While I hate those adverts, I have to say, Octopus Energy dealt with my needs really well during the most recent “energy panic”

I was in a fixed term deal, and was panicking that I would miss out on the last chance of lower prices, so emailed them to enquire, and they actually waived the £50 break clause, and allowed me to take out a new fixed rate which then in April became cheaper due to the price cap changes - didn’t know they’d honour this with me committing to a fixed rate!

I just wanted to share it here, if others have shared their referral code, then I apologise, but I use an app called Sprive - it is a money saving/cashback app with the intention of shortening the length of your mortgage over time!
