Someone suggested sound engineering as a career pathway to me and said that they think I could pursue it as a career given my passion for music and also technology. I haven't really done any research on sound engineering until today, and I can say I really want to pursue this as a career. I don't really have too much experience when it comes to any of this besides live sound mixing for my church on Sundays. I would really love to do live gigs for concerts, and my end goal would to be a Game Audio Engineer or Broadcast Audio Engineer. So yeah, I was wondering what insight you guys would have to pursuing sound engineering as a career. Also, how to go about finding mentors, internship opportunities, live gig opportunities?
