Caskets! The power of music! ❤️ ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I wanted to make the first post in this space myself. 💙

Four years ago, I lost my mum to cancer at just 59 years old. We didn’t always see eye to eye, but she was still my mum, and I miss her dearly every single day.

Then only four months later, I lost my best friend Rachel suddenly at the age of 33 to sudden adult death syndrome. There was no goodbye, no warning, just heartbreak.

If I’m honest, I don’t think I ever truly grieved either loss properly. I built walls around myself because it felt easier than facing the hurt and pain head on.

But listening to Caskets by Ren has stirred something in me. It’s made me realise that maybe I do need to let myself feel it. To remember. To hurt. To heal.

That’s why this channel exists.

A place where nobody has to pretend they’re okay.

A place to remember the people we love.

A place to talk if things feel heavy.

Or simply a place to sit quietly with others who understand.

If you want to share your story, your memories, your grief, or even just a song lyric that hit differently, you are welcome here. 🫂
