When I first started playing a while ago, I did some long ranged weapons (Chargers and a bit of Tri-stringer) but then as I leveled/ranked up and my enemies' skills improved, my aiming didn't as much, so I started trying a bunch of classes, and never really landed on one class before loosing interest in the game and forgetting about it for a while.
A couple months ago I started playing again, and found that i really like the *concept* of brushes. I have almost exclusively played in brush and octobrush since starting to play again, and have managed to get up to S rank, but I seem to have plateaued. I recently fell down the YouTube rabbit hole of the "roles" of different weapons (Anchor, Support, Slayer, Skirmisher, etc) and how the maps in 3 aren't great for alternate routes and sneaking (I think that would be Skirmisher maybe?), which I think would be how I would play if the maps worked for it. I'm curious in branching out to other weapon classes, but I'm not sure which ones are worth trying for extended periods of time.
TLDR: I currently main brushes, but the maps are too linear to play brush properly, so what are some good alternatives with a similar play style, but more suited to the linear maps?
Also I'm not sure if the (Tech/Strategy) flair is right. if I should switch it to (Question) lmk
Edit: I also like the mobility of brushes, so I'm thinking dualies, but I'd like suggestions for any weapons within classes that are pretty mobile that aren't as obvious as brushes and dualies
So today these were in the shop for me (idk if the shop is universal or just randomized per player), and I bought it to boost to one star (two secondary slots). I want to use it in an outfit with all three secondary slots, but I only have one more snail, and I want to save it in case I find something grizzco/amiibo/something that I want to upgrade.
How soon do you guys think it might be back? I don't need a day count, but if there's like a minimum time that I'll have to wait or a general estimate I would like that
