I got my hamster playpen! There are a few more things in it than in this video, but I can’t tell if he likes the playpen or if it stresses him out? He kinda just goes in circles for a while and stops in every little hide, or he’ll stand on his back legs. I don’t wanna cause him any stress!

I’ve had my hamster for just over a year, but I’m not sure of his age when I got him because he was a rescue! I’ve noticed in the last few weeks he started to act a little bit differently. I’m not sure if it’s because it’s spring and warmer out or just because he’s getting older. He’s become a lot more active. I haven’t made any changes to his enclosure, but he’ll put his hands up and try to get out a lot, which he never did before. He’ll wake up earlier than he used to, and overall he just seems a lot more energetic. I’m hoping that’s a good thing, but I do worry about him. I would appreciate any opinions (:
