Are my outfits alright and fitting for Runaway Queen or another level?

Is it just me who thinks Saiki isnt completely AroAce or Aromantic and is more on Asexual?

Regarding his romantic opinions and viewpoints..

Tbh in season 1 it seemed like he is AroAce, he isnt interested in romance and sexual attraction nor wants to get engaged with it, went as far as to do anything in his power to get Chiyo to fall out of love for him and avoiding Teruhashi.

But in season 2, he slowly started to get interested and curious about romance, especially the relationships of other people. (ex: Kaidou and Chiyo, and the alumni pair that checked in the same book saiki was reading) He says along the lines of "I dont understand romance" (when he was checking in on ChiyoKais current relationship) which implies that he IS somewhat interested in romance but its mostly curiosity and wanting to understand it.

And also the fact that Saiki initially doesnt gaf abt romance because:

  1. Its too troublesome and complicated for him

  2. Unwanted attention

  3. (Especially this) His abilities, his telepathy and x-ray are his main abilities that doesnt let him see or feel the appeal for romance.

Also id like to add some stuff from the second paragraph:

Another pair that Saiki engaged in by wingmanning them which is Satou and Hii Suzumiya which was shown in reawakened. And another pair that he wingmanned from season 1 which was Chiyo and her ex (i forgot his name) but it was mostly for his own sake, (Chiyo wont go back to falling for Saiki) and again he mostly did not give two shits about romance back in s1.

•Saiki and Teruhashi's Dynamic in general and how he dealt with her feelings for him

Season 1 and maybe up to early s2 he did NOT want to be with Teruhashi, because of unwanted/too much attention, her personality early series, and his powers (He does not see her beauty because of x-ray and he hears her thoughts)

Later on in the series though he starts to like.. Be okay with her feelings for him or smth? (yeah maybe that) Compared to his reaction to Chiyo's crush on him back then. Probably because of the fact that Teruhashi as a character had some form of character development though it was shown subtly and comedically. Teruhashi likes Saiki for HIM unlike early on in the season where she initially fell for him because he couldnt say "oh wow".

Saiki eventually started to CARE about Teruhashi aswell. He protected her multiple times, admired and even sorta glazed her in a way, cares abt her wellbeing, accepted her feelings in his own way, even got to the point where Saiki said they were invincible together when they combine their abilities.

The "offu" that Saiki said in season 2. That was the one thing he never wanted to say but unfortunately said it anyway when Teruhashi figured out Saiki's type via Aiura, he didnt mean to say it AT ALL and sorta implies that his heart warmed up? (smth like that) quite a bit to Teruhashi. And the fact that if Saiki was more open to his friends, Teruhashi and Saiki wouldve dated, AND Teruhashi accepted Saiki's powers too. (which happened in an alternate universe in one episode)

When Saiki lost his powers in reawakened, he finally got to see Teruhashi in her full beauty, admitting that he finally sees why people are obsessed with her and thinking shes actually VERY beautiful. It also gives him some experience on what normal people feel when they find someone attractive from physical appearance alone.

So like in general, Teruhashi's feelings for Saiki, her development, what she thinks about Saiki, etc. could have subtly affecte Saiki's viewpoint on romantic feelings, whether its the relationships of other people, people that have feelings for him AND his own feelings when it comes to romance.

Just a like, special mention or smth but id like to add Saikis bond with Aiura Mikoto, he tolerates her alot and im not sure if there was a moment where Saiki complained about Aiura being his soulmate. Aiura helped Saiki alot aswell and he cares about her in a way.

•The ending and his general views on his powers and how he actually feels (about his life, feelings, and friends)

So like throughout the entire series Saiki is shown actually caring about his friends by ALOT (it was more apparent later on in the series), though covering it up as like its only necessary for his sake or coincidental stuff like that. His care for his friends also applies to how he views his life in general, including him accepting his powers in the end and admitting to liking troublesome things after all.

That all could affect his opinions on romance in general as well. Since, well again, he accepted his powers, himself the people around him, their feelings, and truly cares about them genuinely too.

Though the ending was a cliffhanger (WHYYYYYY) and the author left the ending of the show to interpretation to the viewers, id like to think that he was slightly more open to romance in general but not completely too, hed probably still find it troublesome and attracts attention but we've seen that he sorta ignored the "attention" part when Teruhashi passed out and Saiki catched her infront of the Kokomins (which is btw, a stupid fangroup he doesn't really like) in season 2. It has a hint of romantic purpose, interest, subtext whatever something like that, but it can be platonic too, depends on yall.

But still yeah he might not be on the same level of interest as other people when it comes to romance, but again, he could be more open to it and try to understand it further.

As for the Asexual part..

I think its safe to say he doesnt want to take part in ANY SORT of sexual..stuff. He may find some people attractive, beautiful, and cute physically (such as Teruhashi and i think also called Imu cute once) but sexually? No.

He said that he always see naked bodies and doesnt see the appeal or doesnt feel any arousal from it. He finds the kind of magazines that Toritsuka likes (i mean so does Kaidou and Nendou but not in the same level) disgusting.

He has jokingly used the term "sexy" once though (In the episode where Toritsuka made an occult club) but again its comedic.

In the episode where Saiki asked for Aiura and Toritsukas help when he turned Akechi to stone, when Aiura arrived she immediately took off her clothes and got on Saiki's bed (she thought he called her to do the thing with em) and Saiki got really uncomfortable, i think he told her that she got it wrong or get out? Something along those lines.

When Aiura asked Saiki if she could kiss him after they stopped the volcano, Saiki deliberately declined and Aiura hugged him instead.

My thoughts on Saiki when it comes kissing though is a bit 50/50, it probably depends on who the other person is but hed still decline most of the time. If he did agree hed rather not kiss first. But thats it, hed definitely not agree on the things like what Aiura pulled from what i mentioned.

**Why i mentioned kissing is because kissing doesnt deliberately or automatically mean its sexual, it just depends on why you want to kiss someone ykyk

There might be more examples for Saiki's dislike in sexual attraction but these are the only ones i remember (I havent finished rewatching tdlosk yet..)

I hc Saiki as asexual and demiromantic just saying LOL Everyone can have their own opinions and hcs!! So long as you guys respect it and it doesnt turn them into a different character that doesnt make sense in my opinion ;v;
