Napoleon’s Invasion of Egypt In Lego
I spent like 6 months recreating the entirety of the French invasion of Egypt and Syria out of Legos. I recreated the arrival in Alexandria, the battle of the Pyramids, the arrival and revolt in Cairo, the sieges of Jaffa and Acre, and much more. This campaign is arguably the most unique campaign of Napoleon’s career and one of the most important. It birthed Egyptology, led to the discovery of the Rosetta Stone, helped jumpstart the Egyptian nationalist movement, weakened the Ottomans, and much more. The uniforms for the French troops are from AliExpress but everything else is genuine Lego. I’ll post more photos on my Instagram page (isaacs_lego_stuff) with all of my other builds.
