to please watch Mulan. I was shocked and heartbroken and in a state of denial hearing you haven’t seen it. I was born in 97 and Mulan came out in 98, so I grew up watching it and it was truly such a transformative movie for little girls. Mulan was SO ahead of its time compared to the typical Disney princess portrayal. Literally a feminist work of art lol. It challenged gender norms and showed little girls how strong women are!!! AND the music is 100000/10.
