Albania Questions (Lin & Permet & more)
I'm doing a 2 month stint in Albania (maybe other Balkan countries too) this summer. I'm struggling to figure out a few details. Right not my route is:
Fly into Corfu, take the ferry up to the Albanian Riviera. Trip begins:
Himare --> Gjirokaster --> Permet --> Berat --> Tirana --> Shkoder --> Theth
Maybe: Theth --> Kotor --> Mostar --> Sarajevo
It was suggested that given I have the time, I should see the village of Lin. Where on this journey does it make sense to insert Lin? I won't have a car, so I need to get there by bus. I am thinking Tirana --> Lin. But then do I have to go back to Tirana to continue my trip? Any tips?
Where do people stay in both Permet and Lin? I'm using HostelWorld to find reputable stays, but both of these villages don't have many options. Are there any guesthouses highly recommended?
Any cities I'm missing? Any suggestions?
