Losing everything

I've been in pain for years but never taken seriously because I'm young. I've been told that it was all physical manifestations of anxiety and I needed more therapy or to trial a new psych drug. I finally got diagnosed with fibromyalgia this year when the pain got so intense I stopped being able to move certain parts of my body. I had recently taken a new really good job right before the flare so after being out for many weeks I was let go due to undo hardship. I was denied unemployment due to being unable to work for illness or injury. I grew up in the foster system and have no family or support system to help take care of me right now. It's been over 6 weeks since I've received any form of pay and the social workers in my county are encouraging me to voluntarily give up my independence and put myself in a group home because that is better than being homeless. When I express I don't want to be disabled before 30 and ask for alternative resources I'm encouraged to consider the group home. I've applied for some general assistance stuff but haven't heard back yet. On the days the pain isn't too bad I've tried to apply to some work from home or low physical exertion jobs but the last two interviews I did they lied about the job in the description and it's actually more physical than I can actually do. My doctor recommended I rest and focus on PT until August but I lost all my doctors when I was fired and will be evicted way before August. Due to a pretty extensive abusive history often linked to caregivers amongst a million other reasons I'm not considering a group home.

God bless America.
