Hoping to understand what my options are as I have been informed that my RA request will be administratively closed. This is after I requested additional time to respond to the alternative accommodations offered (following the interactive meeting). I requested the additional time in order to confirm availability of the accommodations I was being offered as alternatives to the ones I had requested. I was not going to approve the alternate accommodations offered until I could be certain they were actually available to me. I was not able to confirm within the two weeks given (I was granted an extra week), as the only people who could confirm availability have been out of the office. Despite informing the RA coordinator of the reason for this delay and requesting additional time, I am now being told that my case will be closed administratively. I have been working on this request since October (first request) and the delays have not been due to me.
Do I have to start this whole process over again??
