What are some genuinely good classics?

I’ve been trying to get into some of the classics recently. I’ve listened to three so far, Pride & Prejudice, Jane Eyre and Wuthering Heights. The two former I quite liked especially Jane Eyre but Wuthering Heights was in my opinion awful. There was no clear main character, the time jumps confused me and pretty much all the characters were absolutely intolerable. So now I’m wondering what books should listen to next?
