I’m considering trying camping (LED) for the first time W1 2027. My group has always done Airbnb or hotels (mostly W2). I’m finally going to live my Bothchella dream next year for my 50th birthday! I’ll be solo W1 so the idea of staying onsite is appealing a)budget-wise and b)vibe-wise as far as hopefully meeting other fun people at camp etc.
I’m normally a creature of comfort and honestly could not handle car camping or porta potties. But a 2 person lodge at LED seems doable. I’m always up for adventure and new experiences. And the idea of being able to walk to my accommodation and not having to make my way home solo every night is very appealing.
Any thoughts/opinions on trying camping for the first time? Is the experience of being on the grounds all weekend worth forgoing a real bed and AC? If it matters, both weekends I’ll get VIP passes and W2 will be in a house with friends.
