Almost.....

I am almost to my 1 year authority age and I feel discourage....I dont know why but I feel like this hill that I am fighting is somewhat gonna get harder somehow. Dat load board rate are getting worse and worse and I feel like giving up. Even asking for $2 a mile is already asking too much to some of these brokers. Its hard out here.

Thoughts on dispatchers

All the loads I see near me always sucks, to the point where It doesnt make sense booking. Does that mean I should just try out a dispatcher?

Meter Exchange Apprentice

Trying to get into a union and came upon this position. Is this a good stepping stone trying to get into the U.A plumbers & Gas union 5 year program?

Thank you.

Box Truck Sleepers. Top and extended. Not eating the cargo space.

I have been doing otr Box truck for a couple of weeks now and hotel stays are eating my profits. I have done some research and I know of three that do sleepers for box trucks. I checked out schan GTT box truck roof sleepers, Box Truck Conversion Roof Top sleepers, and DC-Max with the extended added to the cab that pushes the box truck back on the frame.

I just want to know how everyones experience was with these sleepers and if their are any other out there that are worth mentioning.

The other thing that I wonder is that, these conversions or addons will cost me about 5k to 15k for these additions, So I was wondering myself if I should just trade in my box truck and get a semi truck. The other thins is that my box truck is paid off so I dont have to worry about truck payments which is a stress reliever also.
