Hi everyone, I’m a caregiver for my amazing mom (59), and I am looking to connect with anyone who has a similar diagnosis or treatment path. We are navigating this journey and would love to hear some success stories, experiences with our current protocol, or advice on next steps!
Here is her clinical profile:
• Diagnosis: Stage IV Rectal Cancer with very limited/small metastasis (one 1.2 cm spot on the liver, 7 mm nodules in the lungs).
• Genetics: Triple Wild-Type (KRAS, NRAS, BRAF negative) and MSS.
• Target: HER2 3+ (Positive/Amplified).
• Current Treatment: Just finishing Cycle 2 and heading into Cycle 3 of FOLFIRI + Cetuximab.
I’m so afraid of the unknown and some stories will be very helpful because im scared to death,
Like I barely eat, work or do anything, I don’t wanna even go out, i think the whole world collapsing and im losing my mom and myself, also just got diagnosed with type 2 diabetes with all this overthinking,
Please I’m just looking for hope and similar stories to my mom.
