unfortunately, about 2 years ago, I was low on money and mainly stole hygiene products for myself and my roommate (we’re in college) from walmart and obviously, I got caught. I was honest with them up front, was corporative and honest, returned all that I had stolen. Thankfully, they didn’t arrest me (it was also my first offense) and i just had a court hearing where I was guilty and they charged me as a misdemeanor 1, which I paid off, about $383. I am going to be going on a trip to Japan as a class trip, about 15 of us and we leave in 3 days. What will likely happen? I clicked yes on the question. From what I’ve heard, they pull you aside if they see that and question you about it? I’ve never been abroad before or on a plane in general so I am not entirely sure what to expect. What sort of questions will they ask? I would just like to be prepared so I don’t look suspicious, especially since I regret it everyday and do plan on being honest with them 😭 any help would be appreciated. thank you
