Our company recently enrolled in E-Verify. We are in the construction industry (only project managers, no trades/laborers) and have never been audited before. It's our understanding that signing up for the program increases the chance of an audit. Just curious how soon after enrolling we should expect an audit. We are in the process of getting all of our I-9's stored in one location.
