Questions about the old lady ritual for granting wishes

the OP is inactive i think and i have a few questions because i really want to try it
if i want to wish for 1m in my bank account and a car from my parents would a ring that my bf gave to me be enough as my gift . i love the ring and i feel like it has alot of value to me
after writing do i just leave it on the table? when do i check if she responded?
is it possible that she rejects my wish bc shes not satisfied with my gift?
