Is it normal for dog’s incision to have lump days after surgery?
My dog had closed pyometra. She just had her surgery and it was successful naman. But 4 days after her surgery, I noticed na may lump sa incision niya. Parang may dark thing rin sa dulo ng incision niya. I tried cleaning it pero parang solid siya and I’m scared na I might peel it off and cause infection.
She seems unbothered naman whenever I touch it and she’s active and eating and drinking well.
I already messaged her vet—which is also her surgeon—regarding her incision, and he said normal naman daw. But I just want to make sure that everything’s normal and my dog is okay.
