Buyer making repair request after Due Diligence period ended.

North Carolina here. Some may remember yesterday’s post.
Anyway, DD period ended yesterday at 5pm. We received no requests for any credits or repairs yesterday. Today buyer wants a bunch of repairs made. My attitude right now is to tell him to pound sand. Pay me the EMD deposit and beat it.

Due Diligence period has passed

I'm a seller in NC. Today at 5pm the buyers due diligence period ended. They were supposed to have a final inspection today and then reach out to my realtor with any requests for credits. I haven't heard a thing. I tried reaching my realtor and they wont text or call back. What could be going on?

Whats happening to me? Terminal Ileum infection

At the beginning of April I was hospitalized for a Small Bowel Obstruction. Had to take an ambulance to the ER.

Horrific vomiting like I've never known.

Horrific abdominal pain!

I was in the hospital for 4 days. Within the first couple hours I had a CT scan with contrast and it showed an SBO at the Terminal Ileum. White blood count was off the charts. Had a sever infection.

On IV fluids and IV antibiotics for 4 days in the hospital, then more antibiotics when I came home.

While there I was given a colonoscopy. That showed a good looking colon, but it couldn't reach up to the Terminal Ileum. He stated that the biopsies taken showed no signs of Crohns.

The antibiotics knocked the hell out of the infection. I knew something was up in the weeks leading up to this. I just wasn't feeling myself. Appetite dropped. Weight dropped. Energy dropped. Then bam! I was in the hospital.

I go in next monday for a camera pill. We will see what that shows.

I still have this "twinge" of pain on my lower right side. Its hardly anything, but I know its there. And I have been having an awful time gaining weight back. As a make thats always been on the lean side, this has just made it so much worse. My appetite is still off, and I struggle to gain weight since then. I am concerned. When I do have an appetite, its ravenous. I'll eat everything. Then I'll go forever before I'm genuinly hungry again.

While in the hospital my fecal calprotectin test was off the charts. I have a follow up test this Friday, along with blood work.

But this damn lack of appetite has me concerned. I have stress and anxiety as it is, but this has made all that worse.

Does anyone have any advice on what kind of food path, or improved habit path to take? I'm just exhausted with all of this.

Capital Gains Tax question

I have a second home I am selling. I have not owned it for 5 years, nor have I lived there for 2 of the last 5.
I will probably make a decent chunk of money above my cost basis.
I’m a regular W2 employee. Not a real estate investor.
My question: How do I pay my capital gains taxes for the 2026 tax year immediately after the sale? I’m in the U.S. can I electronically pay online? I have a real id account as well.
Are their any specific things I need to look out for on the IRS website regarding type of payments, etc…

Question to the pros out there. If a crawl opening is too small or tight for you to get into, what do you do?

Is there a camera on a pole you may use? Or another way to evaluate? I’ve heard some just make a note that it wasn’t inspected.
