Financially overwhelmed after stage 4 cancer diagnosis at home need advice regarding property loan
On December 14th, we found out that my mother was diagnosed with cancer. Since then, our lives have completely changed. We had to move from Bangalore to Delhi for treatment, and for the last six months I’ve been on loss of pay.
I’m the sole caregiver, so I haven’t been able to resume work from home properly, and I also can’t go to the office. My job is now under threat, and I’ve been put on a PIP because I haven’t been able to perform. I requested two months of unpaid leave, but now they are forcing me to come back to work.
At the moment, she is in the ICU, and honestly, I don’t know how I can resume work in this situation.
On the other side, we also have a home loan running, and finances have become a huge concern. I’m feeling completely overwhelmed and unable to think clearly about what we should do next.
