the book looked painted or drawn, I think the girl was missing or had died? I remember she had been hurt and people looking for her?

So I read this book back in middle school(early 2000s I think). it was a book about a girl, her name was either Sophie or grace. i think it was a purple cover with the girl kind of on it but faded and a necklace. it also looked like it had a running track on the cover. I think it had something to do with a Christian? I don’t really remember much else. I know it had other books with a pink cover and also one with a blue. same author.
