Hi everyone
I was recently not working for a month due to an injury that occurred out of work . My job is both labor and customer service and the doctors excused me from doing any heavy lifting , I asked my work to accommodate me into a customer service role and they flat out denied me and said I can’t come back until I am given the 100% . I asked about 3 times for accommodation but they refused to discourse.
I was finally given the 100 to go back to work and I am no longer needing any medication I’m fully healed and back to normal . I am being asked by the HR employee to fill out a form that states my date of injury , what happened that made me have this injury , what was the injury , and the medications I took .
As well my injury qualified for fmla and I’ll have disability sdi for the month and did not use any pto or sick days for this injury.
Is this normal practice now that I am back 100% and no longer need any medication or any type of assistance.
