I'm in the process of getting my name legally changed! I have my updated social security card, and I have a current Real ID with my old name on it. I'm flying later this month, but I also really need to update my ID to my current name this month. The DMV has availability soon, but can I fly with my temporary id? Google says no, so I'm wondering what alternatives I might have! Or if I should just wait to update my ID until after my trip (which is kinda cutting it close). I really messed up with the timing of all of this!! What do I do here??

Edit to add: flying from oregon. Don't have the option for a digital id!!

Hi! I'm in the market for a car and I'm seeing one this Sunday. This guy is telling me that he's an independent dealer, and that he'll have me fill out paperwork and I'll have to request a title, and I should get the title in a few weeks. My dad says not to trust this, says it's weird because he SHOULD sign the title over to me the day of. Is this normal in oregon? Buying the car from Washington. Not really sure what to expect, this is my first time buying a car. Can show screenshots for further context if needed.
