Puppy peeing in crate?
Hello all,
I recently purchased an Alaskan Malamute puppy from a reputable breeder here in my state. She is overall a very good girl, currently 12 weeks, but I am solo and struggling with the potty training.
I take her out very often and she is slowly getting it but not perfect yet. She rarely indicates before she has to pee. Pooping, i will notice her sniffing more. I am very sleep deprived due to getting up every hour or so to let her out, and today I attempted to take a short nap while she slept in her crate. I took her out right before I laid down, but she peed all over the crate and herself while I was asleep and I had to give her a bath. I'm frustrated because nearly everything I've read has told me that puppies won't pee/poop where they sleep but clearly that's not the case. Has anyone experienced this before, and what did you do?
