Hi, I fell in love with a heritage home in cabbagetown. It needs love (the only way I can afford this location). Does anyone have experience with renovating heritage home? Externally we would need to change the windows, upgrade masonry and in an ideal situation add a separate entrance to rent the basement. I have heard horror stories. Is it really that bad to get fix it up? Thanks
