Trying to find a Japanese movie about a deaf gyaru escort with a purple wig
Hi! I've been trying to find a Japanese movie I watched years ago on Netflix and it's driving me insane 😭
Here’s everything I remember:
Japanese movie, probably from the 2000s
Very realistic/dark tone, not cyberpunk or stylized
Main character was a young deaf/mute woman since birth
She wore hearing aids with cute accessories/charms on them
She had a wavy purple wig and a gyaru/gal style
She worked as an escort/prostitute through phone calls and would go to hotels
At some point a client abuses/assaults her
She fights back, hits/kills him accidentally (or in self defense)
The scene was graphic and uncensored
The movie felt very sad/depressing overall
I vaguely remember some kind of connection/parallel with another girl or woman in the story
I watched it MANY years ago on Netflix and I cannot find it anywhere now.
It honestly felt like an indie/V-cinema type film.
