Just completed my first punch needle project. I love the look of cut pile. But how do you know when the trimming is done? Because it felt like I could trim forever… Any feedback or suggestion on how to make it better is much appreciated! Thanks in advance!

I really like the look of this but I’m new to punch needle. Any idea how to achieve this look and how to do the border? TIA
