Solar Power for backyard shed
I have a small shed in my backyard that I was wanting to run power to. Contacted an electrician and in order to trench, run cable, etc… they quoted me ~$7k. I’m now contemplating just setting it up to be solar powered instead, but it am completely new to all of this. Are there any kits I should look at? How do I get everything setup properly? I’m wanting to learn how to do all this, but it’s completely foreign to me as I know nothing about electricity really.
Any and all help is appreciated. I’ve watched some YouTube videos, but they confused me even more because they all were doing different things. I’m looking to be cost effective and efficient. Don’t need anything overkill (I don’t think). Shed is maybe 100 - 150 sqft. Used primarily for storage now, planning on putting a gym in it, small window ac, and might do some woodworking in the other side. Has a separation down the middle with another door. Already has a small electrical panel in it, but never had power hooked up.
