Alberta, Manitoba or TRU

GPA - 3.34 LSAT - 162

The title might mislead some people. So far, I only got into Manitoba. I am currently on the waitlist for TRU, and haven’t heard back from Alberta.

I’m a BC resident who wants to practice either in BC, Alberta or Toronto. Based on previous posts, Manitoba feeds into the legal market of that province, and very few alumni work outside of Manitoba. That definitely isn’t something I’m looking forward to, who knows that might change. I’ll look to try and grind out 1L and try to transfer out of Manitoba, if that’s possible. Hopefully my fellow redditers can give me some advice about that.

I called TRU and was told that I should accept my offer at Manitoba. If I were to get an offer from TRU, it’d be first week of September.

Does anyone know what my chances at Alberta are, and if I can call and ask?

So my stats are 162 LSAT, 3.34 GPA, B+ at TRU. I got an A from Manitoba today, and am on the waitlist for TRU. I’m a BC resident who would like to practice in BC, or possibly in Ontario. How likely am I to get an A from TRU in the next two weeks. And what do you all think, TRU or Manitoba?
